My lithium ion battery for my camera is dead and will freezing it charge it?

I have a Casio Exilim Z-75 and the battery will not charge in the battery charger. All i am getting is a flashing red light, no green light. I know I should order a new battery but in the meantime can I freeze this one just to see my pics again?
