Where in the motherboard do i plug in this cord?

it comes from my case and it is labeled hda and ac'97. they both are connected and have the same type of connection. I think they might control the on/off and reset button on the case but can't find where to plug them in. My motherboard is an asus m4a89td. I also would like to know if i can use the same ribbon that is made for a hdd to plug in my optical drive?
