I am certified and have repaired both HP and Dell tablets. All tablets are a pain to work on and will cost you plenty in labor (if its out of warranty). Dell has definitely become the very worst manufacturer in quality, workmanship, and support -- sinking lower than E-Machines. I wouldn't call HP number one -- in sales maybe -- but IBM/Lenovo always is the cream of the crop for quality, workmanship, and support, HP is somewhere in the middle on that. But definitely take an HP over a Dell every single time.
