Will a solution of mouthwash and peroxide take the smell out of wood furniture and NOT hurt the wood?

We purchased from Pottery Barn several pieces of modular furniture for television and equipment storage, called Printer's Furniture Collection . We are smelling lacquer fumes that are out-gassing from the modular cabinetry. I have been running our air filter, continuously since it arrived almost 2 weeks. I scrubbed it with a wood cleaner from Whole Foods and still out gassing. It is so toxic smelling. If we close the door on the cabinetry the fumes seem to build up and when one opens the doors they are blasted.
